Dr. Jessica presented Women’s Hormone Health: Supporting Women Through Every Season, through an empowering presentation that explored how hormonal changes impact women at different stages of life and what individuals can do to better support their health and well-being. She emphasized the importance of early prevention, encouraging women to take a proactive approach to their health across all phases of life, from early adulthood through menopause and beyond. Attendees learned about the common signs and symptoms associated with hormonal shifts and gained practical strategies to help manage these changes through lifestyle habits, proactive care, and greater awareness of their bodies

Throughout the session, Dr. Chen explored what it means to not only manage but truly thrive through menopause, highlighting practical strategies to maintain vitality, balance, and quality of life during this transition. She also addressed key health factors that significantly influence hormonal balance, including the critical role of sleep duration and its impact on metabolic health, energy levels, and long-term wellness. In addition, she discussed the importance of proper nutrition and its direct influence on hormone regulation, reinforcing how foundational lifestyle choices can shape overall health outcomes.

Aligned with BLU's approach, the discussion connected these insights to our 5 Drivers of Health & Wellness©, illustrating how a comprehensive, data-driven understanding of the body can empower women to take control of their health journeys.

The session concluded with an engaging and interactive Q&A moderated by Amie Balchunas, MA & FL REALTOR®, Broker Associate, where attendees had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions and gain deeper clarity on topics discussed. This portion of the event fostered meaningful dialogue and provided valuable, personalized insights, leaving attendees feeling informed, supported, and inspired. Closing remarks were given by Solimar Rodriguez, founder of SRS Legal, P.A., who reflected on the importance of continued education, collaboration, and empowering women through knowledge and community.

The event created an opportunity for members of the Chamber’s Women’s Council to connect with fellow professionals in a welcoming and inspiring environment. Conversations continued over lunch as attendees shared experiences, asked questions, and built relationships with other women leaders in the Fort Lauderdale community.
