BLU Celebrates Fort Lauderdale’s New HQ

A new chapter in Fort Lauderdale’s history began with the official opening of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s new headquarters, a milestone representing the city’s continued investment in public safety, service, and community.

BLU by ThriveWell® was proud to be represented at the September 9 ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Mayor Dean Trantalis, city leaders, law enforcement officials, and community members who gathered to commemorate the occasion.

Located at 1300 W. Broward Boulevard, the new headquarters was designed to better serve a growing Fort Lauderdale while providing the Police Department's dedicated men and women with modern resources and spaces to support their work.

Inside, the facility includes specialized areas that were not available in the department’s previous headquarters, including evidence laboratories, training rooms, a shooting range, and advanced technology designed to support investigators in processing and analyzing critical evidence.

Beyond the new building itself, the celebration reflected something even more meaningful: the importance of investing in the people and institutions that serve our community every day.
