Celebrating Connection at the Chamber Holiday Social

Last night, BLU by ThriveWell™ had the privilege of attending one of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce’s most cherished year-end traditions, the Annual Holiday Social, presented by Galleria Fort Lauderdale. This festive gathering brought together the Chamber’s Chairman’s Circle, Trustee Plus members, Trustees, and leaders across the business community for an evening filled with connection, celebration, and purpose.

The event created the perfect blend of holiday cheer and meaningful engagement. Guests enjoyed ; food, lively entertainment, and spirited networking among colleagues and partners who are shaping the future of our region. A highlight of the evening was the silent auction, which added an extra touch of excitement while supporting a greater cause.

But beyond the festivities, the Holiday Social stood out for its deep commitment to community impact. Attendees were encouraged to bring new, unwrapped donations, ranging from toiletries and cleaning supplies to gas cards and gift cards, to support local families in need. These contributions directly benefit two organizations doing vital work in Broward County: Broward Partnership, providing essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness, and Gilda’s Club, offering emotional and social support to those impacted by cancer.

This emphasis on giving back is exactly what makes the Chamber’s Holiday Social such a meaningful tradition. It is more than a celebration, it’s a moment where business leaders come together to make a tangible difference for neighbors who need it most.

As participants, we were honored to stand alongside fellow Chamber members in support of these efforts. Events like this reinforce the power of collective impact and the importance of showing up not only for each other, but for the broader community we share.
