Building Connections at the Women’s Council Mixer

Our Marketing & Communications Director, Melissa Garcia Villa, represented BLU at the Women’s Council Mixer, an engaging event hosted by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce that brought together local professionals for an evening of connection and collaboration.

The Women’s Council Mixer offered an opportunity for women business leaders, to network, build relationships, and support one another in both professional and personal growth. The Women’s Council itself is a vibrant part of the Chamber, dedicated to impacting, empowering, and championing women business owners and leaders through events, networking opportunities, and leadership-driven programming.

Melissa joined over 20 attendees for the mixer, including BLU Members, and connected with peers, exchanging insights, and strengthening partnerships within the South Florida business community. Melissa had the pleasure of connecting with fellow attendees, including Janna Lhota, the new Chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber Women’s Council. Events like this reflect BLU’s commitment to engagement, leadership, and supporting initiatives that elevate diverse voices in business.
