BLU was proud to attend the 2026 Broward Go Red for Women Luncheon hosted by the American Heart Association on May 14, 2026, at the iconic Pier Sixty-Six Aviva Ballroom in Fort Lauderdale. Representing BLU by ThriveWell®, Jessica Chen, MD, BLU's Chief Health & Wellness Officer, Board-certified Internal Medicine physician and Diplomat of the Board of Anti-aging and Metabolic Medicine and Jaime Lane, BLU's Health and Wellness Manager, joined community leaders, healthcare advocates, and supporters dedicated to advancing women’s cardiovascular health awareness and supporting lifesaving research, education, and advocacy initiatives.

This year’s luncheon raised an impressive amount to further the American Heart Association’s mission. The Go Red for Women movement was created to address the awareness and clinical care gaps surrounding cardiovascular disease in women, the leading cause of death among women in the United States. The initiative empowers women to better understand their heart health, recognize risk factors, prioritize prevention, and support one another through education and advocacy. This year’s event introduced a first-ever wellness pop-up experience, creating a space focused on connection, reflection, and self-care, values that closely align with BLU by ThriveWell’s® mission. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that inspire healthier communities and encourage women to prioritize their long-term health and vitality. Supporting events like Go Red for Women reflects the organization’s dedication to education, prevention, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their wellness journey.
