This past Tuesday, we had the pleasure of being the VIP Reception Sponsor in the 14th Annual Women United Magnolia Luncheon, hosted by United Way of Broward County at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL. The luncheon honored women of dignity, strength, and perseverance, and emphasized women rising as leaders and changemakers in Broward County.
The Magnolia Luncheon unites women from diverse backgrounds, connecting philanthropic interests and community leadership to raise vital resources and address social challenges. It’s a celebration of the power and impact women bring to driving lasting social change across South Florida.
Attendees enjoyed a morning filled with boutique shopping and stopping by our booth where they received The Calling - A Memoir of Family, Faith and The Future of Healthcare by Dr. Chris Chen and Dr. Gordon Chen, BLU's Co-founder, CEO and Cardiologist, Dr. Jessica's Homemade Granola, and more! The inspiring luncheon spotlighted the community’s ongoing work.
The event was co-chaired by Heidi Alzate Kaufman (Barry University) and Kim Sarni (Lifestyle Media Group / South Florida Business & Wealth). During the luncheon, the honorees included Stella Tokar, recognized as “Woman of Inspiration” and Erika Axani, honored as “Woman of Promise.”
By attending, BLU by ThriveWell™ celebrated the achievements of these remarkable women and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that build stronger communities, promote social impact, and foster meaningful change throughout Broward County.
