On January 4, 2026, the scenic trails of Vista View Park in Davie, Florida were the setting for one of the most exhilarating endurance challenges of the winter season, the 15th Annual Vista View 360 Ultramarathon & Relay. This unique event invites runners to tackle a 1.24-mile loop over the course of six straight hours, completing as many laps as possible within the time limit. Participants can enter as individuals or join a 2–4 person relay team, taking turns on the course while others rest, refuel, and prepare for their next stint. Vista View 360
Among the dedicated competitors were Ben Bisesi, BLU's Assistant Operations Manager, and Jaime Lane, BLU's Health & Wellness Manager representing BLU by ThriveWellTM. Their objective wasn’t just to compete… it was to strategize, support one another, and keep a steady pace throughout this demanding relay format.
From the very start at 6:00 AM, Ben and Jaime dove into the rhythmic challenge of the Vista View loops. The relay format allowed them to alternate laps, one running while the other recovered, maximizing both recovery and performance. In total the BLU by ThriveWellTM team completed 35 laps of the course over the six hours, and came in 4th place in the co-ed division, a testament to consistency, tactical exchanges, and endurance.
Together, they navigated everything the course threw at them, from the physical fatigue of repeated loops to the mental challenge of sustaining focus hour after hour.
Completing 35 loops in a six-hour time limit isn’t easy, it demands not just physical training but mental grit, relentless motivation, and the ability to support your partner when the pain sets in. Ben and Jaime demonstrated all of these qualities, embodying the spirit of teamwork and resilience that makes relay racing such a compelling format.
While the results sheet records the numbers, the real story lies in their commitment, to each other, to the challenge, and to finishing strong. Whether cheering from the sidelines during a rest period, sharing tactical insights between laps, or digging deep for that extra mile, they showed what’s possible when you run together.
