On March 2nd, we had the honor of attending An Evening of Gratitude, a special event hosted by the Holy Cross Health Foundation, at the beautiful Pier Sixty‑Six Luxury Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The evening brought together community leaders, donors, and partners to celebrate the generosity that advances compassionate, high-quality care across the region. As a Platinum Sponsor, BLU was proud to support an event that reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to vital services and strengthening the mission of Holy Cross Health.
The evening featured a heartfelt reflection from Mission Leader Mary Carter Waren, followed by a welcome from Board Chair Rudy Molinet. Laura Denoux, Vice President and Chief Development Officer, led a Celebration of Generosity recognizing the transformative impact of philanthropy throughout the health system. A highlight of the program was the presentation of the Champion Award to Keith Koenig, honoring his remarkable philanthropic leadership. President and Chief Executive Officer Pierre Monice closed the program with an inspiring look at The Future Ahead, emphasizing continued innovation and growth in service to the community.
Gordon L. Chen, MD, BLU's Chief Executive Officer, Board-certified Cardiologist and Internal Medicine physician, Jessica Chen, MD, BLU's Chief Health & Wellness Officer, Board-certified Internal Medicine physician and Diplomat of the Board of Anti-aging and Metabolic Medicine, Melissa Garcia Villa, BLU’s Marketing & Communications Director, Jonathan Lane, BLU’s Health Span Advisor, and several BLU Members, were honored to attend and connect with fellow partners dedicated to advancing health and well-being. The Evening of Gratitude served as a powerful reminder that when a community unites around a shared purpose, generosity becomes the catalyst for meaningful, life-changing care.
